Henry Street Consortium

The Henry Street Consortium (HSC) was created by a group of Minnesota public health nurse educators and public health nurses from state and local public health agencies. We strive to build a quality population-based public health nursing workforce to meet the needs of public health practice in the 21st century. This includes providing student-centered learning opportunities that prepare students with entry-level competencies in public health nursing that can be utilized in a variety of practice settings. The HSC developed a partnership engagement model for best practices for nurse educators and public health nurses to plan and organize clinical experiences for nursing students.
